Frequently Asked Questions
Is financing available?
We may offer financing for the payment of the Initial Franchise Fee, Training Fee and Operating Costs. Our financing offer applies only to the first 100 franchise sold. You may seek financing elsewhere.
What is the franchise fee?
The franchise fee is $1 for each center. This price is only good for the first 1000 franchises sold.
What are the continuity franchise fees?
Backyard Wealth® centers must pay monthly fees including, the Administration fee of $200 and a 3.5% Royalty fee. The continuity franchise fees are used to keep the franchisor strong, maintaining and creating ongoing programs and systems that improve the overall company while allowing the franchise chain to grow.
Do I need any previous experience?
No experience is needed. Backyard Wealth® wants their franchisees to be energetic, financially stable team players who really desire to own their business and possess the commitment and drive to make it successful. You bring the desire and we will teach you the business.
How long does the franchise agreement last?
The franchise agreement is a ten year agreement, with the option for an additional ten year renewal.
What training is provided?
The new Backyard Wealth® franchisee will undergo seven days of intensive and action-oriented training in the classroom. This training covers all aspects of the Backyard Wealth® franchise business, including preparing and facilitating seminars, lead generation and management, customer service, sales, persuasive speaking, marketing and advertising. In addition, there is ongoing support for the life of the franchise.
Are there any centers in the US?
Backyard Wealth ® has corporate owned centers in California and Nevada.
How long does it take to open the center after signing franchise agreements?
This can vary depending on the site and if any construction is necessary. On an average, the franchisee can count on two to three months after signing the franchise agreements.
Can I own more than one center?
The mark of an excellent franchise is the rate at which franchisees own more than one location. Backyard Wealth® strongly encourages their franchisees to expand to more than one location as soon as they are ready.
How much money will I make?
Profitability varies greatly depending upon a number of factors including number of clients and leads generated, number of seminars provided, operating costs, as well as, the ability of the franchisee to manage and control the business. Backyard Wealth® strives to help its franchisees be more successful through marketing aids, procedures and education.
Is there a protected territory?
Each franchisee receives a protected radius of 1.2 miles from their Backyard Wealth® center.
